I realize Fox News is well liked by millions, if not billions of people around the globe. At the same time, the network is looked down upon by millions of people as well. Regardless of your opinion of Fox News articles, I have always been a fan of Neil Cavuto.

Neil posted an article about “Saving as Much as you can, when you can” but there was something else in his article that caught my eye.

This is not to say we shouldn’t trust our bosses or our government, but we might be wise to better trust and rely on ourselves.

That is so true! We, as a people, often rely on others WAY too much for our livelihood, success, and future. In my opinion, we as a people don’t take actions into our own hands enough.

With Delphi filing for bankruptcy and Enron’s fiasco years ago, people often rely on their companies to “take care of them”, but as we all learned from Enron, sometimes the company doesn’t give a shit about you.

When it comes to saving money, dont’ rely on others. Rely on yourself because when it’s all said and done, 9 times out of 10 the only one who cares about your well being is yourself. The only one who can take care of your well being the best is yourself.

So, like Neil Cavuto said, “Save as much as you can, whenever you can, however you can. “
